Paint correction

Most of the price is prep, not product. The 50/50 shot above is the whole argument in one image. Decontamination, clay bar and a stage 1 machine correction take the bulk of the day — a coating seals in whatever is under it, so skipping that step would lock the swirls in for seven years. A wax lasts weeks and hides defects; a coating lasts years and has to be earned first.

No — that is what paint protection film does. A ceramic coating adds hardness and chemical resistance: it resists etching from salt, bird lime and fallout, and makes water and dirt sheet off instead of sticking. Wash it badly and you can still put swirls in it.
